Vafa Guliyeva Doctor of History Baku is one of the most significant centers of the Turkic world in terms of history and culture. Today, this ancient city, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is distinguished by many unique monuments that reflect the rich heritage of Turkic-Islamic civilization. The Shirvanshahs’ Palace, Maiden Tower, and the walls of Baku Castle were designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 2000, making them some of the rarest examples of global cultural heritage. In the Middle Ages, Baku served as one of the main capitals of the Shirvanshahs, İçərişəhər – qədim şəhərin qala qapıları The castle gates of the Old City Connected with the fire worship of ancient Turkic tribes, some sources refer to it as the «Guz Castle» indicating the preservation of ethno-cultural traces of the Oghuz Turks. During the Seljuk period (11th-13th centuries), Baku’s religious architectural heritage expanded considerably. Monuments such as the Muhammad Mosque (Siniggala, built in 1078/79), the Juma Mosque, and the Bazzazlar Mosque stand as rare examples of the integration of religion and architecture in urban life during this era. Inscriptions on the Muhammad Mosque highlight the influential role of high-ranking officials in the Seljuk administration in developing the city’s infrastructure. The Shirvanshahs Palace Complex, located in the Icherisheher district of Baku, is a monumental ensemble that beautifully represents Azerbaijani statehood traditions. Its first courtyard features the Palace building, Divankhana, the second courtyard contains the tomb of Dervish (the second spiritual guide of the Khalvati Sufi order, Seyid Yahya Bakuvi), the Eastern Portal, and the remnants of the Bayil Palace and Shirvanshah Keygubad Mosque. The third courtyard houses the Shirvanshahs’ memorial tomb, the Palace Mosque, and the Palace Bath. This complex has stood for centuries, serving as a residence for rulers as well as a political and cultural center. It is particularly noteworthy that the architectural heritage of Icherisheher demonstrates a synthesis of both Turkic- Islamic and local architectural traditions. The stalactite decorations, religious inscriptions, and windows with shebeke on these structures carry scientific significance as the Baku expression of Turkic ornamental art. Baku has historically played a strategic and ideological role in the development and dissemination of Turkic-Islamic culture. It has also secured its place in the history of urban planning, architecture, and culture within the Turkic world. As a symbol of Turkic statehood and cultural traditions, Baku remains vitally important today for preserving and promoting the shared historical and cultural identity of the Turkic world. ikinci piri Seyid Yəhya Bakuvi) türbəsi, Şərq portalı, Bayıl qəsrinin yazılı abidələri, Şirvanşah Keyqubad məscidinin qalıqları, üçüncü həyətində isə Şirvanşahların xatirə türbəsi, Saray məscidi və Saray hamamı yerləşir. Əsrlər boyu mövcudluğunu qoruyan bu kompleks yalnız bir hökmdar iqamətgahı deyil, həm də siyasi və mədəni mərkəz kimi çıxış etmişdir. Xüsusilə qeyd olunmalıdır ki, İçərişəhər memarlıq irsi həm türk-islam, həm də yerli memarlıq məktəbinin sintezini nümayiş etdirir. Abidələrin üzərindəki stalaktitli bəzəklər, dini mətnlər və şəbəkəli elementlər türk ornamental sənətinin Bakı variantı kimi elmi əhəmiyyətə malikdir. Bakı şəhəri türk-islam mədəniyyətinin təkamülündə və yayılmasında strateji və ideoloji rol oynamış, eyni zamanda türk dünyasının şəhərsalma, memarlıq və mədəniyyət tarixində öz layiqli yerini almışdır. Türk dövlətçilik ənənələrinin simvollarından biri olan Bakı, bu gün də Türk dünyasının ortaq tarixi-mədəni kimliyinin qorunması və tanıdılması baxımından aktual əhəmiyyət kəsb edir. Kitabın köçürülməsi işi 1481- ci ildə Sultan Yaqubun dövründə başa çatdırılmışdır. Lakin illüstrasiyaların çəkilməsi uzun fasilədən sonra Şah İsmayılın dövründə, yəni XVI əsrin əvvəllərində tamamlanmışdır. Kitabxananın nəzdindəki bədii emalat- xanada Şah Təhmasib Səfəvi dövrün ən görkəmli xəttat və rəssamları – Sultan Məhəmməd və onun oğulları Mirzə Əli və Məhəmmədi, Mir Müsəvvir və oğlu Mir Seyid Əli, Müzəffər Əli, Sadiq bəy Əfşar, Şah Mahmud Nişapuri, Dust Məhəmməd və bir çox başqa sənətkarlar qızğın fəaliyyət göstərirdilər. Bundan əlavə, emalatxanada Herat, İsfahan, Şiraz və s. şəhərlərdən gəlmiş Şərqin məşhur sənətkarları Kəmaləddin Behzad, Ağamirək İsfahani və başqaları çalışırdı. Evidence of this is seen in the miniatures illustrating Abul Qasim Firdovsi’s “Shahnameh.” During Sultan Ahmad Jalayir’s reign in the late 14th century, Islamic religious and mystical themes (“Meraj- name”) became more prominent in Tabriz miniatures. The early 15th century miniature style is best exemplified in illustrations of Nizami Ganjavi’s “Khosrov and Shirin,” copied in Tabriz by the renowned calligrapher Ali Hasan Soltani between 1410 and 1420. These five miniatures are characterized by meticulously crafted compositions reminiscent of Junayd Naqqash’s style. Miniature paintings from the Shirvanshahs’ regions, including the “Shamakhi Anthologies of Poets” and Baku miniatures, closely resemble Tabriz samples, indicating a shared Azerbaijani miniature art school. XV ƏSRDƏ MİNİATÜR SƏNƏTİ

Tahir Bayramov Azərbaycan Milli Elmlər Akademiyası Memarlıq və İncəsənət İnstitutu Sənətşünaslıq üzrə fəlsəfə doktoru Babil (Bağdad) - Mesopotamiya boyakarlıq məktəbinin təsiri altında yaranmış əl Xoyinin “Vərqa və Gülşa” və “Mənafi əl-heyvan” əsərlərinə çəkdiyi miniatürlər XIII əsrə aiddir. Azərbaycan ərazisində Ali Monqol Ulusunun hakimiyyəti bərqərar olduqdan sonra ərəb- Mesopotamiya, Bizans, türk-monqol, türk- uyğur və yerli təsviri sənət əsərləri əsasında Təbriz miniatür məktəbinin fərqli üslubu təşəkkül tapmağa başladı (“Cami ət-təvarix”). Təbriz miniatür məktəbi üslubunun təşəkkülü prosesi XIV əsrin 30-40-cı illərinə doğru başa çatdı. Buna əmin olmaq üçün Əbülqasim Firdovsinin “Şahnamə” poemasına çəkilmiş miniatürlərə nəzər yetirmək kifayətdir. XIV əsrin son rübündə Sultan Əhməd Cəlayirin hakimiyyəti dövründə Təbriz miniatür üslubunda İslamın dini-mistik meyilləri (“Meracnamə”) gücləndi. XV əsrin əvvəlinə aid olan miniatür üslubunun səciyyəvi cəhətləri Nizami Gəncəvinin 1410-1420-ci illərdə Təbrizdə məşhur xəttat Əli Həsən Soltani tərəfindən köçürülmüş “Xosrov və Şirin” poemasının əlyazmasına çəkilmiş illüstrasiyalarında daha aydın şəkildə ifadə olunmuşdur. Bu əlyazma nüsxəsinin beş miniatürü ustad Cüneyd Nəqqaşın üslubunu xatırladan, əsaslı sürətdə işlənmiş kompozisiyalarla fərqlənir. XV əsrdə Şirvanşahlar dövləti ərazisində çəkilmiş miniatür rəsmləri, “Şairlərin Şamaxı antologiyaları” və Bakı miniatür rəsmləri üslub, sənətkarlıq xüsusiyyətlərinə görə Təbriz miniatür nümunələrinə çox yaxındır, bu isə bizə Azərbaycan miniatür sənəti məktəbinin üslub vəhdətindən bəhs etmək imkanı verir. Təbrizdə Ağqoyunlular dövrünə aid olan ən diqqətəlayiq sənət nümunələrindən biri hal- hazırda İstanbul Topqapı sarayı muzeyində saxlanılan 1481-ci il “Xəmsə”sidir. Bu əlyazma nüsxəsi əlvan rənglidir, zərif naxışlıdır, altı ünvanla, üç sərlövhə və əksəriyyəti yüksək sənətkarlıqla işlənmiş 19 miniatürlə
